Zap!

Last weekend `Krissi001 hosted a fantastic Emote Appreciation Day (EAD). On the day she launched a number of contests, some lasting for only the day, others extending for the remainder of the week.

One of these contests was a Line Art Colouring contest where a number of blank emotes were provided and participants were challenged to colour them. Out of the 7 bases, 4 jumped out at me that they could be linked in a short animation. Whilst I don't know if this is possible within the rules of the contest, I decided to give it a go anyway. Either way it was run to try and create something different from other coloured versions.

I made sure to use the exact poses in the frames and then build the animation around them. My animation skills are uber rusty (my last animation was nearly a year ago) and I know there are several sections where I could vastly improve the emote if I had more time and motivation. However, with the deadline looming and a busy day ahead of me, I wanted to get it finished and submitted.
