"How did you spend your weekend?"

I've always known my family was a little odd. Whilst my friend's families spent their free time doing 'ordinary' things like playing football, reading a book or going sailing, my family always seemed to be working on some obscure little project. As time has gone on, the projects have got weirder and weirder and i often end up joking about some of the things i get up to.

"How did you spend your weekend?"
'oh, the usual. Just cut out 40 pirate hats and made 2 air canons'

I'm not even joking. If you want proof, just look at the deviation below:

I've come to really notice the odd-ness of my life this summer. I can list off the things i've done to include:

Making resources for a massive Scout event
Helping at a funday for 1200 kids
Organising over 2000 photos
Creating a pirate map
Visiting a working windmill
Creating crafts for 30 kids on a Cub Camp
Documenting progress records for 40 kids
Making 2 air canons
Photographing + writing up solving instructions for all my Rubik's cubes

So i may not have been away or got a summer job like most people would, but i wouldn't change it at all. <3

And i'll leave you with the question, how did you spend your weekend?

I did an (unintentional) nose dive off the trig point on top of Cadair Idris and smashed my knee open. The worst bit was, I still had to walk all the way down.

I spent Saturday hanging out with my twin brother, first time in 5 years.

And then Sunday, I went to a huge family gathering where I saw aunts, uncles, and cousins that I hadn't seen in almost 5 years. BUSY weekend was BUSY!

I was reading this and looked to the side, and was looking at your past avatars. Why don't you have the one with the Rubiks cube? I think it would fit better if you had that one. Not that I have anything against your new one, I was just saying.

Because i like to change my avatar every month or so. Its not that i dislike it or anything, but i like the ability to try use something new and come up with new ideas rather than sticking with the same one for months.
