I don't think it's fair to - the concept might be worthy of a DD but the people entering it don't get the attention they deserve.

It's unfair to give a DD to a project since only the host gets the attention.

 Yes it's a good way to feature a lot of people because most of the people who takes a look at featured deviation usualy press the links to other work so those people will get a feature too.

 Yes then the entire project will get more entrys.

 No the artist wont be able to get a DD on his own work :(

2/3 so yes

I say yes, it's perfectly okay for projects to get DDs, AS LONG AS the project host properly attributes the contributing artists. Like you did with the emote shelter project! :)

Personally, I don't believe they should. The individual gets the exposure more or less.

However, it really does bring a lot of exposure to the project: look at the tower project or the :tardwallpaper: project. All the attention came from the DD, even when it still isn't finished. It really boosted it: after all, a DD is actually a feature.

It does take time to run a project as well. I hate running mine, but it's something I have to do everynoe and then to keep the community. Also, projects that can be finished I think may be alright to feature: an end result really helps the impact on a project.

The project has to be something like th :tower: project or :tardwallpaper:. They have liek, 2000+ emotes (at least mine does. :paranoid:)
