Can you think of a term to describe emoticons that are designed for looking at rather than use in chats? For example: [link]

PURELY ARTISTIC! and CHAT-FRIENDLY!

This way, expressive, chat appropriate emotes aren't deemed as 'not artistic' they just have a more useful, artistic purpose. Purely artistic shows that the emotes are artistic, but only serve that purpose.

I'd say expressive and artistic... But that to me says you cant have an expressive emote thats not used in chat... Artistic kinda sounds like the chat emotes aren't really artistic. My suggestion.....

dAxMotes
Description could read: Emotes that are useful in the dA chat environment.

Artistic/Expressive
Description could read: Emotes that express your creative and artistic side in emoticon creation that are not ideal for the chat environment.

And by the way, why the need for both of these when submitting?

Emot(wit)ory = Mix out of Emote (with) Story

I made the Brackets because I leave it to the reder if he thinks Emotwitory or Emotory sounds better ^^

I don't think they really need to be categorized, but if really needed it could be something like "Artistic Emotes" It kinda sounds like a word where those emotes separate themselves from chat based emotes

I like the term artistic but I think they can cross over between the two distictions.
