I think they're a load of crap really. I think the answer should be A and B, but the thing is, people who actually deserve the recognision and stuff of getting a DD very rarely get a DD. I sugested a DD ages ago. My suggestion note was not even responded to, I doubt it was even looked at, simply because I am not a popular artist and the person who's work I sugested is not a popular artist. But this paticular girl is ONLY fourteen (she was thirteen at the time) and her writing is of such amazing quality and brilliance. It just annoys me bphow those who are popular just 'get' DDs, whether they deserve them or not.

So the answer is, Daily Deviations are to pimp the popular. They shouldn't be, and people won't like me for saying this, but they are. I didn't make it that way, I'm just pointing out that it is that way.

i think a DD are a showcase because it doesn't show the whole gallery of someone who get it, and i don't think it promote a deviant but remember a deviant is an good artist when a deviation is already popular and give motivation to other deviant who get a DD which is not popular yet and why not show that this deviant could continu in this way because a work was choose between is whole gallery for originality and creativity but there are sure a lot of reason, and i probably still didn't get them all

Now that I've had a couple I can definitely say that it's not to promote a deviant, even if that were the intention. Most people do not click through to the gallery or profile - they are interested rather in the art.

b) comes closest, for me anyway. A DD is a feature of something the GM thinks everyone should see. It doesn't necessarily have to be the best of the best, just worthy of being brought to everyone's attention.

To me, DD means a huge bra size.

I think it makes deviants work harder and better...it gives them confidence.
