Not only do you not appear online, you won't even show up in any of the visitor logs if you are invisible: group, profile, you name it. The annoying part is that the trolls can visit your profile and quietly set up a hate journal for others to flame you. And since Journal search was disabled it is virtually impossible to locate such journals. The upside is making your profile invisible enables you to looks at potential troll profiles without risking showing up in their visitor log.

I'm not sure exactly why I am anymore, I've just had it like that for months Think it had something to do with the fact I take a looooooong time to reply to comments even though I'm logged in almost 24/7, even if I'm not actually doing anything on here, and I keep when I am on hidden so no one expects comments instantly >_>

that's just what I did when i registered the account in 04 and when I came back to it this year it never occurred to me to change it - you think I should change it back?
mind, my internet plays up something weird sometimes, so it might look like I'm online but i can't reply to any of my messages
