hmm i did hit 2000 pageviews in one month. i would get rid of them all.. i dont really give it much importance, since most of ppl that check profiles, specially when chatting on chatrooms, is just to check the sex gender.. pretty dumb to me, but oh well.. i just think dA is losing what had the best.. its really getting like stupid childish sites such as hi5 and stuff.. thats just my line of thought.

I look at mine but I don't get a lot of visitors, so I really don't pay much care to the number.

Nah, I don't think they're that important... It gives you a 'status' of popularity, but it's a relative thing.

I don't really pay attention to how many i have as they aren't important to me. This pageviews thing reminds me of hi5 and "popularity level".. In my opinion it's more important to have watchers than pageviews, because "visitors" come and go, while watchers are the ones that really enjoy your art and want to see more.

huh just read your comment here after posted mine.. yeaa i agree 999999% stupid kids and pervs are everywhere.. even if we try to keep something underground.. if its something at least a tiny bit cool and good.. dan pervs always come along to ruin everything.. its the same in real life, at least here where i live! my and the guys find a great place to hang, sooner or later damn scum comes along to explore the place, then we have to move.. same old same.. sucks

Yea, they are alive and surfing around internet, but imo if one's page is visited once by a million people like that doesn't mean thay he is oh-so-popular. About good things, if they are really so good they will remain good no matter whether they will try to spoil it or not...

I have nothing against pageviews and this would be the last reason for me to leave dA or any other community/place (like you said, place to hang.. why to move? there is enough room for everyone, so what if they come to explore the place..) I just don't care

i hear you.. well the only catch about them hanging around its like they bring bad rep to the outsiders, hmm theres still a lot of artist that don`t know about dA you know? any way, yeah i guess its not a reason to leave dA, pageviews i mean.. i agree there.
