I prefer #2, lighter is easier on the eyes

Style two shows the expression better...but they're both great

I like the brighter, bolder colours but feel that the subject of the emote should dictate (not the best word choice but I'm a little fried right now) style one or style two.

i like the brighter colours personally, but they're both good. you should try to intergrate both so you're not limited to just one type of colouring.

While I really like Style 2, I would just like to add that the green is a little too mellow for me, needs a bit more green adding in.

While style 2 looks faded, it's light enough for the expression to be easily made out. Also, it seems more unique. So I'd go with 2.

It depends on the mood of the emote... And I think style 2 is like a "calm" emote. Really like both.
