I logged onto dA today to find that I had been kindly awarded July's Deviousness Award. It's hard to sum up the mix of happiness, thanks and excitement I feel, but I know I've had a massive smile on my face all day and I don't think it will vanish any time soon. The support and kind messages filling up my inbox has been overwhelming and I intend to slowly work my way through and respond to each one. But for the time being, I'd like to do a collective thank you to everyone that has stopped by my page or commented on the news article.
I'd also like to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me, my projects and my events over the years. I have had the privilege of working with so many awesome people and I certainly wouldn't have managed half of my achievements without their help. I'm also going to feature a few emoticon based groups which I feel deserve some extra attention and recognition for the work they do.
EmoteADay is a fantastic group featuring an emote from a different emoticonist each day of the year. It's the perfect way to explore the emote gallery one emote at a time and find some great emotes, both old and new, along the way.
TheEMTC and ee-motes are two contest groups for the emote community. With a new theme on offer each month it is a great way to get some inspiration and be in with the chance of scooping up some awesome prizes.
Emotication is the emote community's resource group. Housing over 200 tutorials and countless awesome resources, it is the place to go for anyone interested in starting or improving their emoticon skills.
Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to congratulate me on my award and now I'm off to start tackling my message centre.
