The Winners of the 2011 Emote AwardsGreetings, and welcome to #TheEmoteAwards, 2011 edition! I am your host, `stuck-in-suburbia and I want to thank everyone for letting me host the third annual Emote Awards! You know what they say, the third time's the charm. :eyes:
Today, we celebrate those among us who have really excelled this year. However, I have a few guidelines for the acceptance speeches;
:star: Don't thank your parents. They really don't want to know what you get up to online, or be associated with it.
:star: Don't get on your soapbox, or talk at all about politics. If I wanted a nap, I would actually go to class.
:star: Finally, when you're given your award, don't complain that it's not shiny. I'm sorry, but I ran out of glitter half way through.Now that I've rambled on long enough, we can get on to announcing the winners!

I prefer using Photoshop 7. :nod: Aside from photography, it's the only chance my PS copy gets to be used for anything. When I'm on my laptop, I use MSPaint when I'm testing emoticon ideas and faces. Sort of like sketching.

Random Emote Awesomeness - Volume 13Volume 14 in the series that showcases a random variety of emoticons: some old, some new, some by seasoned emoticonists, some by new artists. There's no real rhyme or reason as to which pieces are featured. Sometimes I pick a theme such as animals, other times it's just whatever strikes my fancy. Below are the current group of awesome emotes hand-picked by me (and sometimes a guest). Much like the title, this News feature will publish a bit randomly. Maybe weekly, maybe every third Thursday, maybe three days in a row--but hopefully at least once a month.

Pocket watch by ~EternalxRequiem is an awesome piece with great looking watch and an adorable emote

Time machine Collab made by ~greenafire and ~Nice-Spice is brilliant collab between two newer emoticonists. The panels have each been nicely created with great consistency and some amusing scenes.

I love the textures given to the trees and grass in I'll wait for you by =Siaandra. The story between the two sides is very sweet and come together well to make a single awesome piece
