Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

October seems to have dashed by just as quick as all the other months this year and we are now nearly a week into November. This of course means more stress at uni as December deadlines are fast approaching (especially as uni ends on the 9th Dec) and its not being helped by the fact the laptop attached to our robot has died (not our fault). Although we can code on our own laptops, its far slower and makes the whole assignment less enjoyable.

The one good thing about November is the fireworks. I went to see a massive free display put on by our uni each year (seriously, its like £12,000 worth) which was rather awesome, and even from my flat i can see multiple sets from my window that are launched most nights. I can't say i enjoy the lack of daylight, or the colder weather, but not much i can do about that.

Anyways, at the start of November a new community event started up - the community spirit. Different deviants take it in turns to host 'the spirit' for a week and in their time help do something for the community. =CubicInsanity was up first and hosted a nice little contest, which has now been judged:

No problem. I love your entry (you have a knack for making epic autumn related things).

i think it got off to a good start. I'm just a little anxious that some people's weeks may not get as much attention as other because they don't have as many existing watchers. I see the positive in getting the community to follow the spirit around as its passed from person to person to get the host's page attention and possible new watchers, but at the same time it puts the emphasis on the community to keep up. I guess the other way to do it would be to run it as a group #EmoticonOpus style where the host is the one that chops and changes and the community just sit as new things are presented to them

Well, the thing is we are not sure if this is going to be the type of thing that will go on indefinitely--as it might lose its charm after 4-6 months. My only hope is that as we get it going, more members of the community will promote it and it will have a better chance of success.
