I really need to come up with some more imaginative journal titles. I'm sure i've been using the same 6 words and cycling between them. Ah well

Life has calmed down a bit this week as i've headed back to my uni flat to try and get some uni work finished before the holidays are over. Its a little odd being here so early as the flat (which has 12 rooms) is literally empty. The only 3 people i've met so far are 2 of my old house mates who were moving out and a guy from a separate set of flats upstairs that helped me deal with a spider

I've spent the last 2 days doing a variety of jobs around the flat. I think i've visited all the shops down the street 3 times each as i've had to re-stock various food items and objects which were running low before i left for the summer. I've also spent some time cleaning the shared kitchen as some tenants haven't left items (such as the microwave and toaster) in a particularly pleasant state. Equally i think i've been to the housing agency about 5 times in the last 2 days to report various faults and deal with forms they forgot to ask me to sign.

However i've also taken some time out to do things for my own enjoyment. I've made several fun bookmarks, read half a Harry Potter book (hence the poll) and watched 2 series of The Inbetweeners so i know what all the hype is about. This in itself has been worth the trip back to uni. i've spent the past 6 weeks working on jobs for other people that its been nice to have some 'me time'.

I will have to start working over the weekend though. I have 2 classes i need to learn from scratch as i missed them in my first year and work from them may appear in my final year. I also have to figure out what i'm going to do as my final year project which i have to start in a matter of weeks D: i also want to try and meet up with some friend that i haven't seen all summer.

I've then got to head back to Derby for a weekend to attend a meeting and to make a blood donation
