I have just launched a brand new emoticon contest with a twist. The creative colours contest (CCC) challenges you to make an emoticon only using the colours provided in this deviation:





This journal will be used to keep an up to date list of entries and prizes.



Q) Am i allowed to use black, white and grey scale?
A) Nope. Only the 25 colours

Q)Am i allowed to use transparency?
A) You are allowed a fully transparent background. However you can't use semi-transparent pixels to create extra colours

Q) Will you be checking all the entries?
A) Yes. I have a special site that has been developed that allows me to check your deviations against the original palette. If they don't match then i will be selecting and comparing colours by hand. In the case i detect any issues i will be contacting you

Q) One of my colours is ever so slightly off. does it matter?
A) Yes. Please be careful. if the deviation can't pass the colour check it will sadly be disqualified even if its a brilliant piece.

Q) What are the coloured bullets about below?
A) They allow me to keep track of who's pieces have passed/failed the automatic colour check. If i find an issue with the colours you've used i'll get in contact as soon as i can.
