10 Days
I haven't been greatly active for the last 10 days (aside from the whole codeplz announcement) mainly down to the fact my laptop has been in for repairs. Although i've had access to my Dad's MONSTER of a laptop so have kept up to date on messages, i haven't been spending masses off time randomly online or making art. Its amazing how little things like program preferences, personalised bookmarks and keyboard layouts can impact your enthusiasm to spend time on a computer.
However, i haven't been bored stiff or twiddling my thumbs for the last 10 days. I've managed to complete a number of tasks off various to do lists, had some fun days out (including 32 miles on a steam train
) and have now started on a massive photo album project (20 years of Scout photos). My laptop returned this afternoon with a new touch pad and various minor issues fixed. It's good to have it back as it will make some tasks far easier now. 10 Facts
I got tagged with another of these 10 facts meme things. Since i've already done around 4 about myself, here's one about my emote OC Syn
1) Most people believe i chose Syn as its short for my username Synfull, but in actual fact its the original username i wanted, before realising it was already taken.
2) Syn was designed on the back of my English text book. I used the 'O' in the 'ESPO' logo as the body, and added in the face and features
3) He was coloured blue because that was the colour of the text book. However, blue is also my favourite colour so it fits well anyway
4) My first avatar contained an image of Syn despite the fact i wouldn't become an emoticonist for another 2 years
5) Syn was also my first ever 15x15 pixel emote, made back in Sept 2007, a year before i properly started emoting
6) He originally had angel wings, a halo and a devils tail, but quickly lost them as they were too hard to pixel
7) He is now commonly though of as a devil (though often mistaken for a cat) but in fact is a Demi-Angel (term created to fit his half-angel, half-devil characteristics)
8) Syn is actually a guy, though i as a person am a girl. This is down to the fact i'm very tomboy-ish and felt a male character would be easier to slot into my life activities
9) It has been recently discovered that S-i-S (`stuck-in-suburbia's OC) is Syn's younger sister
10) Yes, Syn does has detachable horns, though he can't leave them off for too long. They are an important part of him and without them some of his soul and characteristics are gone. So he only really takes them off to sleep.
