As the project has now been launched, i can supply you with some info on this stamp.

This is part of the H.A.N.D Project which encourages people to hug a new deviant. The project is run by ^2dazed, i just made the stamp :)

We are all new to deviantART at one point in our life. You may remember feeling like you know no one, you know nothing about the site, feeling lost and confused.

This project is designed to help build the gap between new and more experienced deviants. If you can take 10 minutes out of your day to hug a new deviant, say hi, help them get to know the site, you never know what might happen.

I know when i joined dA i nearly left after 3 days. It was down to the support of a random deviant that kept me here long enough to find my feet. I was one of the lucky ones, and i hope to see many others are welcomed into the community the same way i was.

So go out ad hug a new deviant, fave the News article and spread the word!
